Overview

We are the largest supplier of defect detection systems in the UK with substantial exports to Europe. Herbert’s vision based camera technology offers unsurpassed ability to quality grade/sort for size and defects for up to 3 grades / standards of produce. The Auto-sort
(optical sorter) has been designed for ease of maintenance, operator friendliness, robustness and reliability to give excellent performance and throughput. Within the Auto-sort family of products Herberts size and inspect small / salad potatoes and medium to large potatoes used for fresh pack and processing. An Auto-sort has also been designed to grade and inspect
carrots.
