A Powerful Creature more mobile than its prehistoric counterpart

The T-Rex has evolved out of customer requirements to reduce the amount of waste being transported back to packing and processing plants. The cleaner-loader was jointly developed with a customer to address two key issues: transferring carrots from field trailers to bulker lorries without damage and to significantly reduce the volume of soil and waste transported with the carrot back  to the packhouse.

The design incorporates 'drop out' coils, folding hopper sides, folding workstands and high level chassis and gives excellent cleaning capacity. The two metre width allows a maximum flow of produce minimising any backlog of crop and potential damage. The double swan neck elevator is ideal for bulk loading and the controls give the  operator easy management, keeping drops to a minimum. The T-Rex can load 15 tonnes in 10 minutes. At the mouth of the system is an 8 ton capacity receiving hopper  with hydraulic variable speed drive. This hopper feeds two sets of 8 row coils which effectively clean the produce. The coil units are fitted with hydraulic variable speed and have hydraulic gap adjustment. A picking  table allows for primary grading if required in problem crops before the swan neck elevator delivers gently into the bulker.

Easy maintenance, operation and cleaning features  include 'drop out' coils, folding hopper sides, folding workstands with access steps and a high level chassis for easy cleaning.  To cope with variable ground levels, hydraulic legs are provided to level the system for stability and to ensure it conforms with health & safety operating standards.

The machine is of a compact design with retractable conveyor / elevator for ease of storage, and safe transportation with road boards, lights and warning beacon.  There are a range of options available to tailor  the design for  specific users. The machine is easy to prepare for transport and highly mobile on the road.
