Appointed UK distributors of the Wyma machine for potatoes - new type of washing for potatoes. R J Herbert have been appointed the UK distributors of the Wyma machine for potatoes. The Vege-Polisher handles over 80% of carrot and potato washing in New Zealand and Australia. Using traditional product agitation the barrel is formed by brushes which are contra rotating giving a polish rather than a wash. Testing proves it removes rhizoctonia and skin staining allowing samples to be upgraded from class 2 to premium product with obvious financial benefits.
