We are extremely satisfied with the two Auto-sorts we purchased from Herbert Engineering in 2007. Their ease of use and robust qualities have made managing our inspection area easier. The machine’s efficiency enables the final inspection to focus on the few remaining bad potatoes meaning the final produce we supply is very good.
We have used Herbert’s Electronic Grading since 1999. The Upgrader was a significant leap forward for us and reduced our labour requirement dramatically. Now we have had the Auto-sorts running since 2007 and the benefits are clear. We now have less good crop rejected, better quality after and we save approximately an hour and a half a day as a result of the changes we have made at Muyshondt. Overall we estimate a twenty percent improvement.
